Its 11 days away from Christmas and what beautiful weather we are having. It’s awesome and horrifying. Yesterday, in New York it was 70 degrees. People were outside in shorts and tank tops in December. Two years ago on December 13, 2014 the temperature in New York City was approximately 32 degrees according to The Weather Channel. If you were in denial, global warming is definitely real.
Check out the information I found on global warming on Tech Times. http://www.techtimes.com/articles/55460/20150527/21-amazing-facts-global-warming-climate-change.htm
The last fact stood out to me the most. The writer states, “Thirty-seven percent of Americans believe that global warming is a hoax, and 64 percent don’t believe that climate change will seriously affect their way of life.” Climate change affects our resources, our homes, what we eat, and where we live. It is important that we take steps to slow down global warming.
Here’s how we can help :
2) Less emission of CO2
3) Walking instead of Driving
4) Reduce energy use
5) Become a part of organizations that lobby for congress to make new laws regarding global warming.
