BIG LAW by Lindsay Cameron explores the life of a young associate working in New York City at the fictional law firm F&D. The protagonist McKenzie Corbett’s experience exposes readers to the pros and cons of working at a big law firm, along with the different personality that are common in big law.
This book will make you cringe with anxiety and burst out into laughter. The story opens in media res which will keep you on your toes as you watch McKenzie’s relationships were her co-workers and boyfriend unfold. Ironically, it will make you never want to work in big law.
This book was chosen by Redbook and Housekeeping as one of the Best Books of 2015. Big Law is also a 2015 USA Best Book Award winner. The film and TV rights have been optioned to Paramount . So perhaps we’ll see a BIG LAW the movie on the big screen soon.
